"Bring Your Kids to Work Day" at Palo Alto Networks in Singapore

The Palo Alto Networks Singapore office was filled with energy, curiosity, and tiny footsteps as we hosted our Bring Your Kids to Work Day — designed to give our kids a peek into the professional world their parents are part of and spark their imaginations about future careers. Check out some of the highlights!

Cyberkids
Facilitated by our own cybersecurity team, this workshop introduced children to the basics of online safety. Using games like crossword puzzles, treasure hunts, and “spot the difference” activities, the session made cybersecurity approachable and engaging for young digital natives.

Little Farmers
In this hands-on workshop, kids were invited to personalize their very own seedling jars using arts and crafts materials. After decorating, they chose their favorite seedlings to plant and care for at home — a fun introduction to sustainability and responsibility.

Marine Explorers
Through an engaging session on marine pollution and plastic waste, kids explored real marine artifacts and even took part in a mini beach cleanup — staged right in our office! It was a powerful lesson on protecting our oceans and environment.

A Treat for the Taste Buds
Of course, no kid-friendly event is complete without delicious snacks — and we went all out! The day featured five live food stations offering candy floss, popcorn, mini churros, steamed sweet corn, and the ever-entertaining Turkish ice cream experience. The smiles (and sticky fingers) said it all.

A big thank you to all the parents who brought their children and shared a piece of their day with us. And an even bigger shout-out to our wonderful organising committee and volunteers who helped make the day unforgettable.  Your spirit of teamwork and joy made all the difference. Watching the kids learn, laugh, and explore reminded us all why we do what we do — not just to build technology, but to build a better, more connected world. We hope this day inspired our young visitors and gave them a deeper appreciation for the work their parents do every day.
